They will be at the Akron Comic-Con Nov 5th and 6th too.  If you are in the area, it's a GREAT convention, lots of fun.  And if you are there you should stop by and talk to Brendon and Brian, they're really great and have some great comics and art books to sell.  Not to mention you can commission them and/or buy some art prints.

I am picking up the original of this at the convention, I can't wait to see the real thing.  It's almost always true that the original looks better than the scan!

I really love images of heroes doing ordinary things, a mix of the fantastic and the ordinary.  I also really love the Fraim Brothers art as it reminds me of when I was collecing comics as a kid -- like the old Marvel Team Ups and Marvel-Two-In-Ones.  I've always liked the Thing, he's such a good natured goofball even if he has a temper and goes off every once in awhile.

So I wanted something of him chowing down with someone, and I gave the choice to them from a menu of characters and the settled on classic Valkyrie.  A great choice!  

I LOVE how this came out.  The look on Ben's face is priceless.  I love the gusto that Valkyrie is going after her meal, the same gusto she uses in a fight.  I love the bit of her drink flopping out at the top.

They're also both so cramped, which they probably would be in real life.  Just love it.

The Fraim Brothers art is filled with this fun nature.  One art book is filled with DC/Marvel crossovers, and some of them are just simply fantastic (the rest of them are great).

Anyway, if you are at a convention they are at, stop by, it's well worth your time!
