I commissioned this joint piece from of them at the 2015 Cincinnati Comic Expo.com  (cincinnaticomicexpo.com)  BTW I LOVE the expo.  Really fun.

I am glad I was talked into this!  These two were in side-by-side booths, and I commissioned Mike McKone to draw Raven, and Tom Raney to draw Scarlet Witch.

I've never commissioned anything like this, but I LOVE the results.  Part of one of my last gifts to myself.  (I already paid the CC Bill with all the previous gifts on it.)  Might be it for awhile.... Might need to take some freelance work so I can buy more art.  This IS how I convince myself to not be lazy and take freelance work (a % of the extra money that I make I funnel towards art).

I suspect at some time I'm going to have to find someone to paint this!  This means MORE RESEARCH!

Oh, and here's this goofy guy standing with Mike McKone and Tom Raney aping their art.  I usually don't get pictures of him, but someone had to hold the art.  They are really happy to pose with their art, I guess after you spend money and bounce around like a Speedy Gonzales because you are so happy, they gladly take a few moments to pose with their art.  If I pick art up in person, I like get a picture of the artist and their creation.  If I'm around while they are drawing it, I like to get a picture of the artist drawing it. It's just neat to see the image come to life!  (This time my friend took a few images while they were drawing, so I didn't see it until it was done!)
